Spicy Black Cherry Salmon

Ingredients:

  • 4 salmon fillets
  • 1 cup black cherries, pitted and halved
  • 1/4 cup Black Cherry & Reaper hot sauce
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh cilantro for garnish

Directions:

  1. In a small saucepan, combine the black cherries, Black Cherry & Reaper hot sauce, honey, garlic, olive oil, salt, and pepper. Cook over medium heat for 10-15 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the cherries break down and the sauce thickens. Remove from heat and let it cool slightly.
  2. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
  3. Season the salmon fillets with salt and pepper.
  4. Place the salmon fillets on the grill, skin side down, and cook for 4-5 minutes.
  5. Flip the salmon fillets and brush the Black Cherry & Reaper hot sauce glaze over them.
  6. Cook for an additional 4-5 minutes or until the salmon is cooked to your desired doneness.
  7. Remove the salmon from the grill and let it rest for a few minutes.
  8. Serve the grilled salmon with extra Black Cherry & Reaper hot sauce glaze on top and garnish with fresh cilantro.
